time stands still.

time marches on.

time flies…

            it’s supposed to be fun.

 

letting everything go,

holding memories closer, tighter.

 

one step at a time,

one foot out the door,

with my feet on the ground

and my heart on the floor.

 

stuck. frozen. numb. chosen.

alone. afraid. need to get away.

 

what’s ahead is unknown, unclear, uncertain.

never knew waiting would leave me so broken.

 

trusting Your promises

just to keep breathing.

sighing. silent. praying. hoping.
